I've been using 461.92 the last few days, they don't seem to have the issue. The gpu wouldn't send signal if it had set the screen asleep and the tv had been turned off half the time on turning the tv back on I would still have no signal (with LG C9 4k100hz). This is all speculation in the end until we get to test on the 15th but I do believe this will give us a good idea on what will work, and what may partially or not work at all. interesting, i kept having issues with the other 466.x drivers. But I do believe most Freesync monitors that meet the requirements if they have both LFC and a refresh range that matches above. There are so many different types of Freesync monitors with difference ranges and inputs that I believe that's why Nvidia is saying that those 12 are supported and your mileage may very on anything different. I do believe a display port cable will be needed as well but that's is more speculation with little to no proof to back up that claim. By using this website, we can look up all 12 monitors to see what options they have.

I have the Display port cable fitted as recommended full performance twixt the two only prob is when I switch to display port (or 1.1 or 1.2) in the monitor menu I get zilch. I have a 4K 28 inch Asus VP28UQG running. I have my RTX Armor Geforce 2070 running. As a trend, the adaptive sync ultrawides tend to congregate at the 100Hz level, and run from the 450 to the 750 price point. This is a biggie for me cause I dont have a darn clue what is going on. The screen is a very personal part of the PC where preferences can vary wildly from one individual to another. Luckily I did.Īs of typing this on AMD's Freesync website, there are a total of 584 AMD Freesync monitors. Answer (1 of 5): I do not like to recommend monitors. Packing near-RTX 2080 performance and similar specs, Nvidias GeForce RTX 2070 Super rules for solid 4K play at 60Hz and high-refresh gameplay at 1440p. After checking all "12 compatible monitors" that Nvidia recommends and how they said they tested 400+ monitors but only 12 so far are certified, I went to AMD's Freesync chart to see if I could find something in common between all those monitors. While being overly excited about Nvidia enabling the option for Freesync, I started digging in to see if I could find out if my monitor would work.
